Beaded fashion clothing with a social purpose.
Fashion is for everyone and so are our products.
Aille incorporates functional Braille messages as a stylish design pattern on fashion-forward clothing. The intricate beading is intriguing for sighted customers and empowering for visually impaired communities.
All products are produced alongside a local group of blind individuals and together, we challenge others to think differently about accessibility.

Limited edition accessory coming soon.
These clips are designed to be added to all existing garments in a visually impaired individual's wardrobe. Using this accessory design, the wearer can quickly identify the colour of their garment and can easily slide it on and off the garment without damaging the item. The discrete and stylish design of the Braille clip provides wearers with the option to wear the clip in public or easily remove it when the item is worn.
Clothing with a voice.
Our founder, Alexa Jovanovic, began her research on Braille and inclusive fashion while studying at Ryerson University. Her background in fashion communication taught her the importance of disrupting fashion industry norms through innovative design thinking and the co-design process.
When Alexa made the connection between the similarity in size of small beads and Braille dots, she immediately began working with visually impaired individuals to create Braille beaded garments. The beading is fully legible and forms phrases in Braille that communicate clothing characteristics such as colour, textile, and care content.
